My name is Ed Kamins and I created UpFront Advisors to be ‘consultants for people who hate consultants’. In my 30+ years as a successful technology company executive, I did battle with consulting companies of all stripes, large and small. I took note of all the shortcomings of these approaches and interactions and vowed to one day create a consultancy that would be the antidote to all these failed interactions. In times like these, companies are looking for plainspoken outside opinions from business veterans with serious credentials. Leaders that want expert advice that isn’t dulled by company politics. Thus, UpFront Advisors was born.

We don’t think of our work as “consulting” because we immerse ourselves in our clients, actively engaging in the work that needs to get done. We take on not just the work but the goals and aspirations of our clients. And we measure our success based on our clients’ success in achieving those goals.
